תאור

A series of 10-Gigabit Switch Layer 2/3 D-Link DXS-3600 includes the new compact, high performance switches that support wire-speed 10-Gigabit switching Ethernet, routing, and very low latency. The height of 1U and the ability to choose the direction of ventilation on the back of the front or vice versa make a series of DXS-3600 is very suitable for use in data centers, enterprises and campuses at the level of aggregation. Switch DXS-3600 has 24 fixed-port 10GbE SFP + and can use more ports by adding expansion modules. Expansion not only provide additional ports 10G SFP +, but also increase the flexibility of 120-Gigabit stacking, 40-gigabit links, or reduce the cost of connections mezhstoechnyh 10G Base-T for different applications.

Switch DXS-3600 provides high-performance 10-Gigabit data transmission switch fabric up to 960 Gbit / s and a maximum speed of advance packages 595,2 Mpps. Switches are equipped with power supplies, hot swappable fans, and that evidence of a highly developed architecture of these devices. The modular power supply circuit to select the network with a constant or alternating current, depending on the installation location. If you install two power supply modules, they distribute the load and help extend the life of another module. DXS-3600 Series also includes a modular scheme of fans. Three fan may overlap, providing N +1 redundancy for the system. If one fan fails, the remaining fans increase their speed, automatically determining the temperature of the system. And the power supply modules and fan modules are hot swappable, which reduces downtime.

The functions of the data center
Data Center Bridging (DCB) is a mandatory install extensions for Ethernet networking in the data center. Switch DXS-3600 supports several major components of the DCB, such as IEEE 802.1Qbb1, IEEE 802.1Qaz1 and IEEE 802.1Qau1. IEEE 802.1Qbb (flow control based on priorities) provides flow control for the leveling of data loss during network congestion. IEEE 802.1Qaz (enhanced transmission selection) controls the allocation of bandwidth among different traffic classes. IEEE 802.1Qau (Congestion Notification) provides congestion control for data flows within the network domain in order to prevent overloading. Switch DXS-3600 also supports unbuffered packet switching, which reduces the time delay in data transmission on the network.

Energy-saving
DXS-3600 switches allow users to adjust the air flow, using different settings of the power modules and fans. Ability to select the direction of ventilation on the back of the front or vice versa for maximum air conditioning for more efficient cooling systems, all mounted in a rack in data centers that use switches. The switches also feature built-in smart fans, internal temperature sensors that control the temperature change and react accordingly to the use of various fan speeds at different temperatures. At low temperatures, fans will run slower, which reduces the energy consumption of the switch and reduce the noise level.
